My name is Scott Peterson and I have been born in raised in Colorado. I am a junior at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. and I am majoring in Construction Management. I could not ask to be anywhere else because I am in the heart of Colorado’s best waterfowl hunting. My addiction for hunting came from my dad and I received my hunter’s safety at the age of six. Ever since I can remember I have been out in the field chasing every sort of game.

I have two brothers who are right there next to me every time I step into a field. Sadly, my dad passed away in 2002 in an avalanche while helicopter skiing in Canada, but all the passions he taught us continue to be a major part of all of our lives. I love to hunt elk, deer, pheasant, turkey, and almost anything I get the chance to. I love all hunting, but I don’t think there is anything that compares to a flock of geese or ducks landing at your feet.

My brothers and I have volunteered multiple times for The Colorado Division of Wildlife to help with banding projects and the cleanup of wetland habitats. We also helped out with Freedom Hunters which is an organization that helps provided wounded warriors with hunting opportunities, and had a chance to attend the Shot Show in Florida. Hunting is truly our way of life and I am proud to have the chance to be a part of the Foiles team!!
